Colitis Treatment Herbal Medicine

What is Colitis?

Colitis is simply the inflammation or irritation of the colon. This health condition affects millions of people, causing complications like irritable bowel disease (IBS), Crohn’s disease, allergies, and other health issues.

Sadly, the number of Crohn’s and Colitis cases is constantly rising – likely due to poor diet, a sedentary lifestyle (the lack of exercise), and the high levels of stress which so many people face every day.

At least 7,000 cases appear annually in the U.S. alone, with many more happening around the globe – most often in countries that have adopted the Standard American Diet and its poor self-care habits.

How is Colitis Diagnosed?

A standard X-ray or CT scan is usually used by a physician to diagnose colitis, and determine where it is located in the colon. These scans also help the doctor to see if there are additional problems. Sometimes a blood test will also be taken to confirm whether there is an underlying autoimmue issue as well.

Types of Colitis

There are three major type of Colitis, each of which may cause different symptoms. Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s each cause their own version of Colitis, which simply means an irritation of the gut. These are as follows:

  • Ulcerative Colitis – This type always begins in the rectum and then usually spreads to other parts of the colon. It is considered an autoimmune disease – that is, it happens because the immune system attacks cells in the gut when it shouldn’t. Ulcerative Colitis can cause abdominal pain, bloody stool, and diarrhea.
  • Infective Colitis – This type of Colitis usually occurs because someone has an infection caused by a parasite, bacteria, or virus. Common bacterial infections like e coli can cause Infective Colitis will cause symptoms similar to food poisoning (diarrhea, upset stomach, etc.) Parasites that have contaminated the food or water we drink can also cause this type of Colitis.
  • Crohn’s Disease – This gastrointestinal disease can occur anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract, and doesn’t always start in the rectum. It can begin in the esophagus, the stomach, the throat, the small intestine or the colon. Usually a doctor will see abnormal or unusual legions or irritations within the GI tract.

In both these types of Colitis, other organs of the body may also be compromised.

Symptoms of Colitis

Symptoms of colitis can include:

  • Diarrhea
  • Dehydration
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Rectal pain
  • Blood in the stool
  • Rectal bleeding
  • Pain in the gut, stomach, or side of the abdomen
  • Fever
  • Weight loss
  • Urge to go to the bathroom

Though Colitis isn’t fatal by itself, it can cause serious health complications if it isn’t cured.

What Causes Colitis?

Doctors aren’t certain what causes colitis, but they’ve noticed that stress and diet have a lot to do with making the symptoms of colitis worse.

Though modern medical science won’t go so far as to say that diet, lifestyle, and chronic stress cause this condition, they certainly admit that the eating poorly, which causes the gut flora to be out of balance, doesn’t help.

Stress can also contribute to chronic inflammation, a known root cause for many disease, colitis being just one of them.

For example, when we consistently eat junk food, our gut bacteria – a combination of billions of tiny microorganisms which help to support our immune system – the balance between “bad” bacteria and “good” bacteria weighs more heavily toward the “bad” bacteria.

The “bad” bacteria begin to take over our intestines, causing an inflammatory response. Essentially, our bowels become irritated and swell as the body sends blood cells there to try to repair the damage that the bad bacteria induce.

So really, Colitis is a chicken and the egg argument. Does colitis happen because we have poor gut health or does poor gut health happen because we have Colitis? The answer is both – as the gut becomes inflamed and swollen, we are more likely to have lowered immunity and bad bacteria which can cause ulcers, and irritation – in other words, colitis. It is also true that if we have colitis, we are more likely to have poor gut health.

It may sound surprising, but individuals who take medications called NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) often have a greater incidence of colitis. These drugs cause inflammation in the gut. When coupled with a stressful lifestyle and poor eating habits, they can create a perfect environment for Colitis to develop.

Stress is also linked to poor gut health. Stress plays major role in our immune system, too, so once again, stress, coupled with other lifestyle choices we make tend to cause Colitis. Finding ways to lower stress like spending time in nature, or meditating can also help symptoms of Colitis.

How is Colitis Usually Treated?

There are literally hundreds of drugs prescribed for Colitis, but almost none of the pharmaceutical medications prescribed by doctors do anything to cure the root causes of the condition.

What’s worse – many of these drugs cause serious side effects ranging from:

  • Sever stomach cramping
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • Food cravings
  • Lack of appetite
  • Headaches
  • Skin rashes
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest pain
  • Heart palpitations (irregular heartbeat)
  • Nausea
  • Dark Urine
  • Yellowing of the skin (jaundice)
  • Loss of urination
  • Rapid weight gain
  • Swelling
  • Coughing up blood or vomit
  • Gas
  • Vomiting
  • Flu like symptoms
  • Fever
  • Back pain
  • Weakness
  • Runny nose
  • Dizziness
  • Joint pain
  • Liver damage
  • Destruction of healthy gut flora
  • And more

This is just a list of possible symptoms for one commonly prescribed Colitis medication!

When Colitis becomes extreme, it is also dealt with using very invasive surgeries. These can be very extreme – from cutting out part of your colon and rectum and fashioning a new one, to making a hole in your torso and attaching a bag where your body’s excrement goes, instead of in the toilet as most people’s waste does. Shockingly, even these extreme surgeries don’t always cure the inflammation and irritation because they do not solve the root problem of poor gut flora and a weak intestinal tract!

Fortunately, there is another solution which is a revolutionary way of treating Colitis and Crohn’s disease that doesn’t cause a single side-effect. It also helps the body to cure itself using its own innate intelligence – going to the root of the problem and correcting it from there.

A Better Alternative to Treat Colitis and Crohn’s – Naturally

Grocare India presents the ultimate revolution in healthcare – XEMBRAN, STOMIUM & ACIDIM which have collectively helped thousands of people Heal Colitis without any side effects

Grocare India, the makers of the all-natural medications: XEMBRAN, STOMIUM & ACIDIM understand that our modern lifestyles are what create this disease.

The way we eat, our levels of stress, and our poor gut flora (“good” gut bacteria) leads to a weakening of the intestinal lining. This means we end up having an infection that doesn’t necessarily make us sick, but that exists “under the radar” of the body’s immune system.

We go along with our lives never suspecting that our guts are very weak and prone to an infection and inflammation at any moment. This is commonly called a sub-clinical infection. This infection attacks the intestines, making them prone to further illness. This is what causes Colitis.

Here’s where Grocare’s all-natural medicines come to the rescue:

First, STOMIUM attacks the sub clinical bacterial infection which causes our intestines to be weak and worn out. If our intestinal walls are constantly stressed from this “stealth” infection, we cannot recover from Colitis.

Next, XEMBRAN acts as an herbal bacteriostatic healer. Xembran’s bactericidal action works along with the body’s defense mechanism (the immune system) to eliminate the harmful bacteria.

ACIDIM, the last of the three herbal medications you will need to order from Grocare, maintains optimum pH levels of the intestinal walls to create an unfavorable environment for infection. You can think of this medication like a loud mother-in-law making your unwelcome guests so uncomfortable that they end up leaving on their own.

These three completely natural, non-side-effect forming, non-invasive, and easy-to-take medications begin the healing process. The intestinal tract is restored to it a natural, healthy state. The gut flora becomes balanced, and by reducing the inflammation of the colon, you can then say “goodbye” to Colitis!

If you’ve suffered from diarrhea, bloody bowels, painful stomach cramps, and other symptoms of Colitis, your body is crying out that your gut needs to be healed. Will you listen?

You can simply mask the symptoms, or cut away a part of you which you need to help you digest your food and assimilate nutrients, or you can go the natural way and use Grocare’s tested, natural, herbal medicines.
